Ok I had planned on blogging a little every day but it didn't work out that way!

That's ok, I'm back on  track I hope!

It's interesting who we  may meet when we're catering events or when we're food vendors to local businesses such as Dale Bros Brewery in Upland.

A few weeks ago we were at Dale Bros and we met David Brown.  He's a stuntman.  He said that he had been the stuntman for Michael Clarke Duncan (RIP).   Now why we didn't take a picture with him is beyond me.  It would have made for a great Facebook Picture!  Anyway we got his card.  We didn't ask who he knew from Dale Bros or if he's a regular.  You think we would've ask some more questions.  You don't meet a cool stuntman everyday!

He was super nice.  We kept asking him he wanted to buy some of our tasty food and he said no thank you.  We were selling delicious Chicken Tacos, Po' Boy Sandwiches and Steak and Chicken Nachos!  I know that stuntmen need to watch what they eat BUT this was delicious Pine Haven food!  You can't pass it up, right?!!?!?  David finally said yes!!!!!!   He had 3 of our delicious Chicken Tacos!  Another lost photo op, David eating our Chicken Tacos!  Oh well....

Thank you David!    Now does anyone know David?  Just wondering!

We'll be back at Dale Bros Brewery on October 12th from 5pm to 9pm.  Wonder if David will be there?

Ok so here we go!  Our first entry in our blog.  This is exciting!  Since we're new at this, we're thinking where to start, how about an introduction and a few pics.

History, written by Sharon Ellis

Established in 2006
The name may seem strange but really it's a family name. My parents bought a 6 acre wooded lot in Derry N.H. in 1955 (the year I was born) and out of that beautiful and rustic blank slate my Dad built a summer cottage, a bridge to cross over the running brook and a big barn, When he was finished he carved "Pine Haven 1955"  in the concrete stairs he built to wind up to the patio. I just had to use that name for my business.  Pine Haven Catering and Confections began in 2006 and in
April 2012 the restaurant space in the Guesthouse became available so we jumped on it. We love our little cafe and strive to have you love it too!
